Cara Restaurant

Saw the place in selling sunset and therefore went here for dinner with reservation. The reception was very friendly, so was the staff in general. For a Sunday night shortly before new years it was surprisingly quiet. We ordered the tomatoes and mozzarella as a starter to share and as main we had the lemon pasta and pan fried salmon and everything was so good! Only the salmon was a bit spicy. The atmosphere is super romantic but bring a jacket as it is all year outside eating. Still, we were super satisfied!

I recently dined at Cara and had an absolutely delightful experience. The truffle pasta was hands down the highlight of the meal - it was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The New York steak and ribeye were also standout dishes, cooked exactly to my liking and bursting with flavor. For starters, I highly recommend trying the crab cakes - they were exquisite and set the tone for a fantastic meal. And don’t miss out on the fries - they were the perfect accompaniment to the meal, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Overall, the food, ambiance, and service at Cara exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to dine there again.

I discovered the restaurant while staying at Dune's Inn Motel on Sunset Blvd. And what I can I say … it’s like an oasis, a hidden gem. I really liked dining there and came in for three days in a row because it was just around the corner and I could walk there. The service was excellent and so was the food. Johannes and his Team did a great job. I can really recommend visiting the Cara Restaurant. ????????

I love this restaurant, one of my favorites in town. Their service is exceptional and it's a classy place and modern. You are basically sitting in the middle of the hotel with nice plants and little pools. Their drinks are fantastic and the food is good. I highly recommend this place if you have not been there.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Cara. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was incredibly attentive, making the entire visit enjoyable. The cocktails were beautiful and delicious. Whether you are a fan of classic drinks or more adventurous mixes, there is something for everyone. The bartender clearly knows what he is doing! Combined with the exquisite menu, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended for a fun evening with friends or a special date.

Great spot! The coffee was super tasty, and the desserts were just as good. Loved the classy outdoor seating — really cozy and nice. Service was top-notch too. Definitely coming back!

My cousin and I came here on a Friday evening around 6:30 PM and were pleasantly surprised that we were seated right away with no reservation. The vibe was beautiful from the moment we walked in. The lighting was cute, there was a pool in the center of the space, and everyone was dressed up which added to the atmosphere without feeling too formal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the start with lots of smiles and easy conversation. Our waiter was incredibly kind and genuine. The only issue was that he forgot to put in our order the first time so he had to come back and take it again. When the food came out he forgot a few things but he seemed a bit overwhelmed so maybe it was just a busy night. The food came out very fast and it was absolutely amazing. Everything we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. The menu had so many good options that it honestly took me a while to decide what to get because I wanted to try everything. Overall it was a great experience. There were a few bumps in service but the overall vibe and quality of the food more than made up for it. I would definitely come back.

Had a fantastic dinner here! We ordered the black truffle pappardelle, pan-roasted salmon, and the charcoal-grilled organic maitake mushrooms—everything was absolutely delicious. The truffle pappardelle was rich and perfectly cooked, and the salmon had a beautiful sear with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. It came with a spicy side sauce that really elevated the flavors and brought the whole dish together. I also had The Extended Stay cocktail, which was light, floral, and refreshing with just the right balance of citrus and sweetness. The atmosphere was warm, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. You can tell they really care about the details here. Will definitely be back!
